Food Lion and Diversity
Food Lion takes the idea of diversity serious. They seek out the best suppliers to do business with that meet the product and service requirements of the Food Lion. This includes doing business with minority and women owned companies. Food Lion believes that the health of the company and society depends on enabling all members of society to share in economic growth.

I think diversity is a must in the US. If a large corporation favors one group too much, it can be detrimental to the company. It is so nice to be able to see so many cultures being able to work side by side as equals. I remember stories my dad told me when I was younger of how things were when he was growing up. It was so different. I am glad I was born when I was.
